Lead Teacher, April Sumner, has spent decades teaching both children and adults. She has lived in Australia, Haiti, and Italy. Her heart overflows as she mothers souls toward loving God and enjoying Him, both in Who He Is and how He has made the world. She lives on a farm with her husband, David, and two dogs, Sam and Omie. Courtney Newton studied elementary education at Mary Baldwin College and taught preschool at Mineral Christian Preschool and at Christian based schools in Richmond. She has a 6 year old daughter and since Adalynn’s start of school, Courtney has felt God calling her back to her heart’s joy and her roots of teaching. She is a native of Louisa and a member of Mineral Baptist Church. She loves coffee, getting lost in books, and travel.
